Chile struck twice in the final ten minutes tobeat Croatia 2-0 and set up a FIFA U-20 World Cup quarter-final meeting with Ghana. Nicolas Castillo scored 81 minutes gone in the round of 16 match in Bursa before a Jozo Simunovic own goal sealed the European side's fate.
The early action was concentrated in midfield, but Croatia had an early sight of goal when Ante Rebic's corner eluded all but Simunovic at the back-post, but the big defender's control let him down – much to the relief of Dario Melo.
